AUBURN, NY – The Cayuga County Arts Council has added three board members this summer. Greg Lattimore (Lyons National Bank) and Joe Sheppard (Cayuga Economic Development Agency) were elected to the board in June, and Dan Lovell (United Way, <code_munkeys>) was brought on to the board in July.
“Our newest board members strengthen the board in three facets,” Communications Chair Michelle Milewski said. “We now have added to our finance, arts and communications areas of expertise. All three are wonderful additions as we ramp up efforts to restore the Schines Theater.”
Lovell has donated his design services and created a new, updated CCAC logo and website for the CCAC and the Schines Theater. The website was recently launched, and includes histories of the board and the theater, links to other restoration projects, photos and a page dedicated for the community to share their memories of the theater. The CCAC will hold another event, “What’s On Your Mind About the Schines, Part II,” during the Founder’s Day Festivities on August 12th. Members of the public are welcome to visit members of the CCAC underneath the Schines marquee for information, rent-one get-one coupons courtesy of Family Video and refreshments.
